The frame seems adequately strong and assembly was pretty straight forward. There are heavy plastic tip protectors that fit into the leg tubing. The bedding material looks similar to common blue tarp material, i.e. a lightweight woven plastic, so doesn't look very durable. I can't say for sure if it will hold up because my 55-pound dingo-like dog (who loves a soft bed)hasn't used it. When first prompted to lie on it, she seemed very comfortable, but she hasn't used it of her own accord. I have it on a covered back porch and thought it would help keep her cool on a softer bed. The hair brushes off easily despite the material weave. Overall, given that other beds sell for 3-4x this one, the quality is about what I expected.

    Our dog stays in our garage, so having a bed that is slightly off the floor is a big help. This was easy to assemble and our dog liked it right away. Also think it will be helpful in the summer months to help keep our dog cooler while sleeping.

          We bought this bed to keep our pitbull off of the new furniture because of her shedding, now our shih tzu is jealous and tries to lay on it first. it was recommended by my sister who bought one for her dog that has hip problems and all 4 of her pets cram onto one of them! My mom has since purchased one for her german shepard as well. Overall great purchase, great price, probably getting another one for the basement.

                METAL PIPING NOT CUT CORRECTLY, SMALLER BARS TOO LONG, AFTER REQUIRING 2 MEN TO BEND THE LONGER METAL BARS OUT TO ACCEPT THE SHORTER BARS AND SCREW THEM TOGETHER, BED IS VERY UNSTABLE AND WILL TWIST IN THE MIDDLE IF MOVED. WOULD HAVE RETURNED IF I HADN'T TOSSED THE BOX. WHO WOULD HAVE THOUGHT SOMETHING SO SIMPLY MADE WOULD BE A PROBLEM? POOR PRODUCT CONTROL. GARBAGE.
