Our Labradoodle puppy chewed through the zipper of every bed we bought him. I started looking for a zipperless bed and tried the Sleep-Ezzz. So far so good. Otis (our dog) took to it immediately at home, in fact, in the first week it was working so well (and it actually survived a whole week unlike other beds) that I bought a second one for work. I love that its 2 sided, one side is cool and the other side fleece for warmth. The only con may be that the bed is pretty thin. Otis doesn't seem bothered so maybe I am projecting. We have not washed them yet as they are still pretty new and pretty clean.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
