I thought this bed would be great for my 40lb. aussie mix. When we got it out of the box she first thought it was the biggest plush toy ever! After getting her to lay on it, she tried to roll on her side and rolled off the bed, as it has so much stuffing in it. Also, because of the amount of stuffing, it really was too small for her despite the size I measured. We ended up exchanging for another Caddis bed that is great.
